U.S. Pro-Israel Group Condemns Targeted U.K. Boycott of Israeli Communities; Urges American Jews to Boycott Britain

New York — September 4, 2026 — Americans For A Safe Israel, a leading pro-Israel organization, has condemned British government plans to boycott Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank). The U.K. policy echoes some of the darkest periods of recent Jewish history, says AFSI, and further declares the action must be called out as hateful and dangerous.

“When British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband said that his government does ‘not want British companies financing, constructing, or advertising new [Israeli] settlements,’ what must be explained here is that he believes London has the moral authority to prevent Jewish families from living in the one region on earth that is the absolute richest in Jewish history, from the stories of Abraham in the Book of Genesis through the times of the kingdom of the House of David,” says Moshe Phillips, chairman of Americans For A Safe Israel.

“The effect on Jewish families in England not being able to buy wine and Jewish religious items from Judea-based businesses at their local stores is not what is at stake here,” says AFSI’s Phillips. “At the very moment Israel is fighting to stop Hamas from restrengthening its position in Gaza, Miliband’s threats are a moral disgrace. American Jews should respond by immediately canceling all planned trips to the UK and should also stop buying British-made goods.”

Hebron is the largest city in Judea and Samaria, and the Jews who make their homes there are included in this British boycott, explains AFSI. “More than just another unfair attack against Jewish families and communities in Judea and Samaria by U.K. foreign affairs bureaucrats, this outrage also targets the immediate suburbs of Jerusalem,” says AFSI’s Moshe Phillips.

“Once again, Britain’s political leaders have completely lost their moral compass,” states Phillips. “The infamous 1939 MacDonald White Paper, when the U.K. government severely restricted Jewish immigration and land purchases in the Land of Israel, stopped millions of Jews from escaping to our homeland and instead, they tragically became Hitler’s victims. It seems Miliband wants his country to again side against Jewish rights.”

AFSI further calls on pro-Israel Americans to boycott U.K. luxury car brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, and Land Rover until the British government stops issuing ultimatums on where Jewish families can and cannot live. AFSI’s Phillips says, “U.S. Jews can get along just fine without Britain’s overpriced cars.”
