Push the Snow Away – SnoBrum
By The Jewish Voice And Opinion Staff
Winter snow is beautiful to look at, but removing the snow from your car can be a chore. All too often, we see people who only clean a portion of their car, hoping that the rest of the snow will fall off. But driving with snow still on your car is dangerous. Snow can slide off the roof and block your view or hit another vehicle.
We discovered SnoBrum, the perfect tool, designed to remove snow from cars without scratching the finish. It’s a light and simple to use, allowing anyone to almost effortlessly sweep the snow away.

Simple, Elegant Design
SnoBrum is a lightweight push-broom with a foam brush made of high-grade non-abrasive polyethylene at the end of a telescoping handle. The handle extends to give you a reach of 48 inches, which lets you reach all parts of your vehicle, and collapses into a compact unit for easy storage. It’s light, weighing only 8 ounces, and takes very little arm strength to lift and push. This makes it the ideal tool for anyone, including seniors and people slight in stature.
The foam brush is relatively large, 6 inches by 17 inches, and angled into a wedge that slips beneath the snow, letting you push the snow away with little effort. It extends from 29 to 48 inches, allowing you to easily reach high vehicle roofs. The powder-coated steel handle ensures long-lasting durability.
SnoBrum added several upgrades this year to their product, simplifying the handle design for a smoother extension and retraction, and adding a flip-tab locking mechanism. The handle has two soft grips, making it easy to hold and guide the SnoBrum.
Easy to assemble – screw the handle into the slot on the foam brush. When you’re done, fold the handle down and store it away.
SnoBrum has been on the market for over 30 years. It was originally designed for commercial use, intended for auto dealerships to quickly remove snow from vehicles without damaging the finish. It can be used to remove snow, leaves, or loose dirt from anywhere it accumulates, like solar panels, gutters, or vehicles.
A Must-Get Tool
We found SnoBrum easy to use. It is lightweight and can be easily extended or contracted to get to places that would have been hard, if not impossible, to reach, like the roof of an SUV. We tested it in 4 – 5 inches of heavy, wet snow, and the results were incredible. Make sure you clean the snow before it freezes over the SnoBrum is not intended to remove ice.
When we received the SnoBrum, the weather forecast was not predicting snow. The team was disappointed, but our contact at SnoBrum assured us, ‘We’re doing snow dances on the loading dock every day’. Before the end of the week, we were hit with a multiple-day snowstorm that blanketed our cars with heavy wet snow.
This was the perfect opportunity to run SnoBrum through its paces. It passed with flying colors and became a team favorite.
SnoBrum is available online.
