Everyone craves sweets. They trigger the brain to make you happy, by increasing serotonin levels which enhances your mood. Some people say it is healthier to end meals with something sweet because carbohydrates slow down the digestive process. Eating sweets in moderation makes you feel good and can be good for you too.

Fairytale Brownies are a fun sweet, celebrating a great friendship with 30 years of baking and creating delicious memories. A lesson that dreams really can come true. Fairytale Brownies is certified kosher by the Greater Phoenix Vaad.

Tastes Delicious

Fairytale Brownies sells Belgian chocolate brownies in three sizes, full-size, snack size (called sprites), and bite-size morsels, in twelve flavors including Caramel, Cinnamon Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Cream Cheese, Espresso Nib, Mint Chocolate, Original, Pecan, Raspberry Swirl, Toffee Crunch, Walnut, and White Chocolate. Then there are six flavors of cookies, and four flavors of blondies.

We tasted them all and wow! Each bite is filled with flavor, sweet, but not overpoweringly sugary.  We were especially impressed with the packaging. Each piece is individually and attractively wrapped.

Fairytale treats can last one week on the counter, one month in the fridge, and six months in the freezer.

Our favorite flavor might be the raspberry swirl brownie which provided a distinctive taste profile as the berry combines with the chocolate.

It Began with a Childhood Dream

Co-Founders Eileen Spitalny and David Kravetz have been friends since kindergarten at Madison Heights Elementary School in Phoenix, Arizona. They hung out after school at David’s house where his mom baked them brownies. In high school, they said, ‘hey, maybe someday we should start a business together’ and thought of brownies.

They grew up, graduating from different colleges, Eileen a business major, and David a mechanical engineer. After five years in corporate jobs, they returned to Phoenix to make brownies using David’s family recipe and a friend’s catering kitchen.

It was hard work. They both held day jobs, baked at night, and went to farmers’ markets on Fridays as well as displaying at street festivals.

Since neither was a professional baker, they reached out to the Phoenix community for mentors and asked for help. They created an advisory board. In the beginning, when they did not have money to pay the board, they gave them brownie credits.

More Than a Bakery

Fairytale Brownies is more than another delicious treat, they deliver. They specialize in packaging and personalization, which makes them perfect for gifting, special occasions, and corporate gifts.  Their high-quality custom-designed packaging is a brand differentiator. According to their website, customers can upload a photo or logo, they can ship the order the same day with the logo printed in full color on the packaging.

Before online sales were commonplace, Fairytale Brownies focused on eCommerce. They developed a distribution model to share their brownies with a broader market, spreading joy, memories, and happiness. Their prices are transparent, shipping is included, and there are no hidden costs,  just a high-quality product.
